The mandate of French-language Catholic schools
Our mandate is to foresee, plan and offer structured situations promoting the learning of the French language and contributing to a French-catholic identity development.
This mandate includes five dimensions:
- Student learning and essential skills development
- Identity development
- Transmission of the French language and culture
- Flourishing of Catholic faith and spirituality
- Development of support staff’s leadership and promotion of individual and collective commitment
Community outreach
The Conseil scolaire catholique des Grandes Rivières is present in the community through its leadership. Ongoing collaborative efforts are made to address the full range of challenges related to the catholicity, French language and quality in education. Our school board encourages and promotes partnerships between its schools, parents, the Church, various community groups and local businesses.
